United Ready to Move Forward With Denver Expansion
The Denver City Council has approved United Airlines’ request to add 24 more gates at Denver International Airport, as the carrier looks to further enhance its hub in the Colorado city and increase the number of flights.
Over the past five years, United has added more than 100 flights in and out of Denver, according to airlinegeeks.com. Over the next five years, it has plans to double that, bringing the total number of daily flights to 700 by 2025.
Westin opens second Bali resort
Westin Hotels & Resorts has planted a second flag in Bali with its debut of the Westin Resort & Spa Ubud.
The 120-room property features a mix of traditional rooms, suites and villas, including two private pool villas designed to accommodate larger groups or families.
JetBlue founder launches ‘world’s nicest airline’
Twenty years after launching JetBlue from an office building in Queens, New York, its founder has filed plans to launch a new airline with flights starting by year’s end.
Breeze Airways, which has applied for an airline operating certificate with the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration, is actually founder David Neeleman’s fifth airline start-up. Besides JetBlue, he’s also launched Morris Air, WestJet and Azul.

In February 2019, PEOPLE announced that fans of the show could embark on a five-night “Golden Girls at Sea” cruise, which is prepared to set sail on February 24. 2020. While spots on that ship have been sold out for a while now, we just got word that the cruise is set for another run in 2021 — and bookings are open now!
“Golden Fans at Sea,” as the second iteration is being called, will take off on April 5, 2021 and return on April 10, 2021. Like the 2020 cruise, it will depart from Miami, Florida (which fans will recall is the girls’ hometown), and make stops in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico.
